KPN Accuses Vodafone, T-Mobile Of Antitrust Abuses

Law360, New York (April 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A complaint from Dutch telecom KPN Mobile International has prompted the German Cartel Office to launch a probe into rival carriers T-Mobile and Vodafone, with regulators taking a closer look at whether the companies took anti-competitive actions.

KPN confirmed on Wednesday that German regulators opened the investigation after the company accused T-Mobile and Vodafone of abusing their dominant market position in Belgium and Germany.
