Firm Can Rep Plaintiffs, 3rd-Party Defendants: Court

Law360 (April 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court in New Jersey has decided that Gibbs & Bruns LLP can represent plaintiffs as well as third-party defendants in a suit by a group of mutual and hedge funds over losses stemming from their investment in a collapsed Canadian gold exploration company.

The Superior Court of New Jersey's Appellate Division handed down a 13-page decision Thursday affirming a trial court's decision to deny a motion to disqualify Gibbs & Bruns as counsel.
