Potlatch Approves $2.7 Million Antitrust Settlement

Law360, New York (April 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Potlatch Corporation will pay $2.7 million to resolve litigation in a multidistrict class action accusing suppliers of oriented strand board of price-fixing.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, accused Potlatch and eight other suppliers, that cumulatively accounted for 95% of the oriented strand board market, of conspiring to drive up prices for the widely used wood product from June 2002 to April 2006.
