Vaccine Refusal Can't Nix Unemployment Benefits: NJ Court

Law360, New York (June 5, 2014, 7:58 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Appellate Division on Thursday reversed a decision denying unemployment benefits to a registered nurse who was fired by a hospital for refusing to submit to a flu vaccination without seeking a religious exemption, saying the flu-vaccination policy violated her First Amendment rights.
