BofA Gets More Time To Finagle $584M Loan Sale

Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has given Bank of America NA, the administrative agent for American Home Mortgage Holdings Inc.'s lenders, more time to appeal a recent ruling that forbade it to sell $584 million in loans owned by the bankrupt mortgage lender.

In an order Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Christopher S. Sontchi gave the bank until May 27 to appeal his Friday ruling. The deadline to appeal had been May 5.
