Tyson Hit With FLSA Overtime Suit No.8

Law360, New York (May 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tyson Foods Inc. has been slammed with its eighth Fair Labor Standards Act suit of the year, as four workers at the Logansport, Ind., meatpacking plant claim the company alters time sheets and denies employees earned overtime pay.

The complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana alleges Tyson fails to pay workers for all hours of work performed, including time-and-a-half wages required by state and federal law for work performed in excess of 40 hours a week.
