Law360, Dallas (June 17, 2014, 8:54 PM EDT) -- Two prominent Houston plaintiffs' attorneys are facing off in court after Tony Buzbee filed suit in state court Monday accusing Tammy Tran of refusing to repay a nearly $1 million loan he gave her firm in 2010.

Buzbee, of the Buzbee Law Firm, contends he made a $950,000 loan to Tran, of Tammy Tran Attorneys at Law LP, in 2010 with terms that included giving him the right of first refusal on her cases and giving Buzbee a lien on any attorneys' fee interests Tran had in specified cases.
