Busy With Liquidation, Friedman's Wins Extension

Law360 (May 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing jewelry retailer Friedman's Inc.'s bankruptcy proceedings has granted the company's request for more time to file its Chapter 11 plan, after Friedman's told the court it had been too preoccupied with selling off its assets and dealing with other matters to put together a restructuring plan.
