Trustee Appeals Fee Awards In Solutia Case

Law360, New York (May 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The month-long dispute over compensation to lawyers and advisers who worked on the four-year Chapter 11 case of recently reorganized Solutia Inc. is far from over, according to the U.S. trustee overseeing the proceedings.

Trustee Diana Adams lodged an appeal Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan, asking the court to reconsider its decision to award more than $195 million in final fees and costs to attorneys and consultants in the chemical company's case.
