Aloha Trustee Asks Court To Toss Union Contracts

Law360, New York (May 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The interim Chapter 7 trustee for Aloha Airlines Inc. has asked a judge to approve the rejection of six collective bargaining agreements with the bankrupt airline's unions.

Dane Field filed a motion outlining Aloha's motivation for seeking the rejection on Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawaii. A hearing has been set for May 12 to consider the request.
