Oakley Settles Suit With Fry's, Best Buy Over Eyewear Design

Law360, New York (June 26, 2014, 7:14 PM EDT) -- Oakley Inc. has settled a lawsuit in California federal court accusing Best Buy Co. Inc. and Fry's Electronics Inc. of selling a patent-infringing brand of sunglasses that have a video camera in the frame, it said Thursday.

The companies filed a joint motion to dismiss the retailers from the litigation. The manufacturer of the allegedly infringing sunglasses, Thermor Ltd., is also included in the motion and has agreed to settle the case.
