Law360, New York (May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- ACandS Inc.'s Chapter 11 reorganization plan cleared one hurdle Tuesday when it won the approval of the bankruptcy judge overseeing its case, according to the insulation maker's lead counsel. Because it extensively involves asbestos-related claims, the plan also requires district court approval.
Judge Judith K. Fitzgerald of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware signed off on the plan after all objections were resolved, said Laura Davis Jones of Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP, which is representing the debtors.
