Terex Corp. Discloses SEC, DOJ Subpoenas

Law360, New York (May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- So far in 2008, Terex Corp. has been subpoenaed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the company's accounting and by the U.S. Department of Justice seeking information about four transactions between Terex and United Rentals Inc., according to Terex's latest SEC filing.

Westport, Conn.-based Terex disclosed in the quarterly report it filed Tuesday that it received an SEC subpoena dated March 31 and a subpoena from the U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut dated Feb. 29.
