U.S. Patent Director Rogan To Step Down

Law360, New York (December 9, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- The head of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, James E. Rogan, said he would step down in January to pursue opportunities in the private sector and write his autobiography.

Rogan, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO, said he would leave his post on January 9, 2004.
