Hedge Fund, Milbank Battle Shrouded In Secrecy

Law360, New York (March 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- As accusations fly in Meridian Automotive System Inc.’s bankruptcy case, New York hedge fund Stanfield Capital Partners Inc. has been forced to move its brawl with powerhouse Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy out of the public eye.

On Tuesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mary Walrath ruled to close a hearing on Stanfield's earlier request to eject Milbank from the auto parts maker's Chapter 11 proceedings.
