Ex-Taylor Bean Chair's 30-Year Fraud Sentence Upheld

Chairman Lee Bentley Farkas on Monday lost his bid to vacate his criminal conviction and 30-year sentence for his role in a $2.9 billion fraud, with a Virginia federal judge ruling that Farkas failed to show that his trial and appellate lawyers were ineffective.
