Intermec Loses Bid To Exclude Expert Opinions

Law360, New York (May 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Alien Technology Corp. can include its experts’ opinions at the Markman hearing for its declaratory judgment action against Intermec Inc. over patents covering radio frequency identification, a district judge ruled Friday.

Judge Rodney Webb of the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota has denied Intermec’s challenge to the opinions by Alien’s experts filed under seal and also refused to reconsider Intermec’s motion seeking to disqualify one of Alien’s experts.
