Skycaps Battle American Airlines' Ban On Tips

Law360 (May 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Twenty-five skycaps who are suing American Airlines Inc., claiming the airline's curbside check-in charge denied them tips, have asked a court to stop the airline from enforcing a no-tipping policy at Logan Airport in Boston.

The skycaps' motion comes a week after nine Massachusetts skycaps, who won more than $325,000 in a separate lawsuit against American over the same allegations, were denied an emergency motion to permanently enjoin American from instituting the policy.
