CNET Loses Appeal In Board Nomination Dispute

Law360 (May 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Delaware appeals court has finally put an end to months of fighting between technology media company CNET Networks Inc. and its largest shareholder, JANA Partners LLC, ruling that JANA can nominate several new members to the company’s board.

The Supreme Court of the State of Delaware on Tuesday affirmed the Chancery Court’s March decision allowing JANA to proceed with the nominations.
