Novogen Sues Chattem Over Preventative Health Methods

Law360, New York (March 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Australian biotechnology company Novogen Research Party Ltd. has whacked Chattem Inc. with a lawsuit, accusing the health manufacturer of infringing on a patented method used to treat various female ailments.

Novogen filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday, charging the Tennessee corporation with violating its intellectual property designed to minister to breast cancer, pre-menstrual syndrome and menopause.
