Alternative Energy Tax Credit Bill Moves Forward

Law360, New York (May 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. House of Representatives panel on Thursday signed off on a plan to extend tax credits for wind power and other alternative energy sources.

The legislative package also includes incentives for the production of renewable fuels like biodiesel and cellulostic biofuels and authorizes tax credit bonds to give state and local governments added funds to invest in energy conservation projects and research.
