Solutia Trustee Drops Appeal Of $195M Fee Order

Law360, New York (May 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing the Chapter 11 case of recently revived Solutia Inc. has dropped her opposition to the final fees awarded the company's lawyers and advisers.

After challenging a bankruptcy judge's order to award the full $195 million requested by Solutia's attorneys and consultants, U.S. Trustee Diana Adams withdrew her May 2 appeal on Thursday without explanation.

Solutia counsel Craig Millet, of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, said Monday no compromise was reached with his firm to prompt the withdrawal and no reason was given...
