Former Coudert Partners Throw Wrench Into Plan

Law360, New York (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of former Coudert Brothers LLP partners wants the firm's newest Chapter 11 liquidation plan tossed on account of its offer to release partners from future litigation if they contribute substantial funds toward Coudert's exit from bankruptcy.

The Retired Partners of Coudert Brothers Trust filed an objection Tuesday to the disclosure statement and plan that the debtor filed May 9 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
