Court Keeps Covad's VoIP Trade Secrets Suit Alive

Law360, New York (May 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has kept alive a trade secrets suit between Internet service provider Covad Communications Co. and the company it used to generate sales leads for its Voice Over Internet Protocol phone services.

U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued an order Tuesday denying defendant Revonet Inc.'s motion for a judgment on the pleadings, finding that questions remained regarding whether Revonet had violated a confidentiality agreement in its contract with Covad.
