Texas Court Upholds Ruling In Favor Of State Farm

Law360, New York (May 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a victory for State Farm Insurance Co., a Texas appeals court has ordered a state regulator to review its 2003 decision to force the company to cut its homeowners insurance rates.

In its decision Thursday, the Third Texas Court of Appeals agreed with a lower court ruling that State Farm had been subjected to an unconstitutional law, and in addition, had its due process rights violated.
