Bear Stearns To Hand Over Records To SEC: WSJ

Law360 (May 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bear Stearns Cos. will reportedly hand over documents to the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission that reveal that big guns like Goldman Sachs Group slashed their exposure to the financial giant only days prior to its collapse.

On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Bear Stearns would give the trading records to the SEC as part of the agency's ongoing probe into the events surrounding the investment bank's March implosion.
