Delphi To Delay Year-End Filing

Law360, New York (March 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Auto parts supplier Delphi Corp. has been forced to delay the filing of its year-end financial statement with the government amid increasingly tense labor negotiations with General Motors Corp. and the United Auto Workers union.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission late last week, Delphi said that it would be unable to complete last year’s audited financial statements until the outcome of those negotiations becomes clearer.
