Staffing Co. Controller Gets Prison For $1.4M Embezzlement

By Stewart Bishop (September 24, 2014, 3:18 PM EDT) -- A New York judge on Wednesday sentenced a former controller for staffing consultant Infinity Consulting Solutions to as much as seven-and-a-half years in prison for embezzling nearly $1.4 million and falsifying the company's books to cover his tracks.

New York Supreme Court Judge Ronald A. Zweibel sentenced Robert Dayan, 59, of Eatontown, New Jersey, to two-and-a-half to seven-and-a-half years in prison, after Dayan pled guilty to one count of grand larceny in the first degree and another count of falsifying business records in the first degree, for his three-year scheme to loot ICS' coffers.
