Author Group To Seek DOJ Antitrust Probe Into Amazon

Law360, New York (September 24, 2014, 6:31 PM EDT) -- A group of authors who have criticized Amazon.com Inc. over its handling of negotiations with publisher Hachette Book Group Inc. are reportedly planning to ask the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice to open an inquiry into the retailer’s business practices, it was reported on Wednesday.
