Leading NAACP Attorney Joins Fulbright

Law360, New York (June 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fulbright & Jaworski LLP has lured the NAACP's Legal Defense and Educational Fund Inc.'s former director-counsel and president into its ranks, where he will advise clients on labor, employment and civil rights issues.

Theodore Shaw, the LDF's most recent chief, will become an of counsel attorney in Fulbright's New York City branch, after more than 20 years at the NAACP organization that former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall once headed.
