FTC Targeting Large Advertisers' Campaigns, Chair Says

Law360, New York (September 29, 2014, 1:49 PM EDT) -- Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Edith Ramirez on Monday warned large advertisers, including the 20 that recently received warning letters from the agency, that they would face enforcement actions if they don’t voluntarily tighten their marketing disclosures, on the same day that the regulator announced its latest action over deceptive weight loss claims.
