Aredia Plaintiffs Say Cancer Doctor Must Testify

Law360, New York (June 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in the multidistrict legislation over Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.'s bone cancer drugs Aredia and Zometa have asked the court to force a doctor who has worked with the drugs to testify in the case.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the plaintiffs' steering committee asked Judge Todd Campbell and Magistrate Judge Joe B. Brown to compel the deposition of Dr. Noopur Raje, of the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
