Lawsuit Looms as Pennie Plans to Wind Down

Law360 (December 11, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Even as Pennie & Edmonds is preparing to stop practicing law on Dec. 31 this year, attorneys for Pfizer and the University of Rochester are taking the 120-year old intellectual property boutique to court over alleged ethical breaches in Manhattan on Tuesday of next week.

Pennie & Edmonds will cease operations at the end of the year, executive director Ed Henry wrote in a memo to employees this week.
