Law360, New York (June 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has invited the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of the Solicitor General to weigh in on a long-running court battle between AK Steel Holding Corp. and its retirees over claims that the company miscalculated employee pension benefits to the tune of $46.2 million.
The high court said Monday that the solicitor general would be allowed to file a brief in the case expressing the views of the U.S.
