Alpine Logistics Hit With FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (June 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A logistics company that provides truck drivers for delivery giant DHL didn't pay its drivers the federally mandated premium rate for overtime hours, according to a putative class and collective action lawsuit filed Wednesday in upstate New York.

The complaint was lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, on behalf of named plaintiff Angel Hernandez, who claims to have worked for defendant Alpine Logistics LLC briefly in 2007.
