Former NASCAR Worker Sues Over Discrimination

Law360 (June 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former NASCAR technical official has filed a $225 million lawsuit against the sanctioning body alleging that she was subjected to flagrant and repeated racial discrimination and sexual harassment.

In a lawsuit filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Mauricia Grant alleges the sanctioning body held her to different standards of conduct, gave her unequal opportunities and handed out uneven disciplinary measures.
