The Heroes Earnings and Assistance and Relief Act of 2008 (Heroes Act or HEART Act) impacts benefits under 401(k) plans. In addition, Health Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), group health plans, and cafeteria plans may also be impacted by some changes brought about by the Heroes Act.
