CORRECTION: Court Sides With Wells Fargo Workers

Law360 (June 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that a group of loan consultants in a wage-and-hour dispute against Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc. may be entitled to overtime pay.

Judge Marilyn Patel, presiding over the multidistrict litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, rejected Wells Fargo's argument that it was a retail establishment whose employees fell under the retail sales exemption of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
