Lockheed-Boeing Rocket Launch Deal Deadline Looms

Law360, New York (March 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the face of an impending deadline, a proposed rocket launch venture between rivals Lockheed Martin Corp. and Boeing Co. could crumple if the Pentagon and the Federal Trade Commission nix the deal, with both companies able to opt out of the contract.

Federal authorities have taken much longer than expected to complete their review of the proposed deal, but are slated to do so this Friday.
