By Chelsea Naso ( November 10, 2014, 5:07 PM EST) -- Chevron Corp. reportedly sold benchmark-sized bonds Monday in what could be the largest offering by an energy company since oil prices began plunging to a four-year low, Bloomberg reported, citing a person with knowledge of the transaction. Chevron, the second-largest U.S. oil and gas producer, may issue $4 billion in a six-part offering with both floating-rate and fixed-rate securities, the report said.
