Deals Rumor Mill: Solvay, Time Warner, Too Faced Cosmetics

According to the report, Solvay has hired Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Credit Suisse Group AG to advise on the potential sale. Solvay makes myriad products, including soda ash and the material for cigarette filters. In September, the company dropped $220 million to pick up Chevron Phillips Chemical Co.'s Ryton polyphenylene sulphide division, which is in the business of replacing car parts to make them lighter and more energy-efficient....
