Justice Dept.'s Paxil Investigation Gets Wider

Law360, New York (June 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has reportedly recruited the U.S. attorney's office in Boston to help in the investigation of GlaxoSmithKline antidepressant Paxil.

In addition to a previously announced Justice Department investigation based in Colorado, the department has recruited the Boston U.S. attorney's office to probe the marketing of Paxil, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

Attorneys representing Paxil users have said in interviews over the past year that government investigators have met with them to discuss evidence about what Glaxo told the FDA about Paxil's...
