Big Dig Contractor Enters Bankruptcy After Charges

Law360, New York (June 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The contractor that received the most funds for Boston's Big Dig highway project entered bankruptcy on the first business day after federal prosecutors charged it for its allegedly poor work on and over-billing of wages.

Cambridge, Ma.-based Modern Continental Construction Co. Inc. filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.
