Former Manager Hits Winn-Dixie With FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (June 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A putative collective action has accused supermarket chain Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. of violating federal law by neglecting to pay store managers a premium rate for overtime hours.

Named plaintiff James Wigley, who worked for Winn-Dixie between 1999 and 2007, filed his suit against the Jacksonville-based company in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Friday.
