Water Conservationists Sue EPA Over Transfer Rule

Law360, New York (June 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A slew of conservation groups sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Friday, alleging that a new agency rule violates the Clean Water Act by allowing polluted water to be transferred between water basins and channels without a permit.
