Startup Sues Google Over E-mail Transfer Tool

Law360, New York (June 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Google Inc. has been hit with a trade secrets suit by a small software startup that claims the Internet search giant stole its design and program for the Google Email Uploader application.

In the suit, filed Monday in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Ill., Ray Glassmann and Jonathan Sapir of LimitNone LLC say Google broke its promise not to develop a software program to compete with theirs.
