Wyeth, Impax Head To Court Over Effexor

Law360, New York (April 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Despite settling litigation over blockbuster drug Effexor in October, drug maker Wyeth is heading back to court to defend the popular antidepressant after another generic drug maker took a swipe at its patents.

Impax Laboratories was sued by Wyeth after it filed an Abbreviated New Drug Application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
