Northwest Aims To Settle Ex-CFO's Bankruptcy Claim

Law360, New York (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Northwest Airlines Inc. has asked a bankruptcy court to approve a deal granting the reorganized airline's former chief financial officer more than $1 million and other perks to settle his management compensation and other claims against the estate.

In a motion filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Northwest said the agreement would settle a dispute over more than $16 million in unsecured claims that Mickey P. Foret and his consulting firm asserted against the debtor.
