Roche Drops Patent Claims Over Boniva

Law360, New York (June 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hoffmann La Roche Inc. has voluntarily dropped its lawsuit that accused two subsidiaries of Actavis Group of infringing a patent protecting popular monthly osteoporosis medication Boniva.

A judge in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey terminated the patent infringement suit on Thursday after the brand pharmaceutical company dropped its claims without prejudice on June 17.
