Pillsbury Winthrop Nabs AIG Attorney

Law360, New York (April 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a coup for the law firm Pilsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, the senior vice president and general counsel to American International Group will leave the insurance giant to expand the firm’s regulatory practice for financial services clients.

Ernest Patrikis, who spent eight years at AIG, will join the New York law firm next month.

Patrikis held one of the most challenging legal posts within the financial services industry when he joined AIG as special advisor to former chairman Maurice Greenberg.
